One run was the difference at the ballpark as the Jefferson Park Penguins
defeated the Chainsaw Proctologists 4 to 3.
Jefferson Park scored the deciding run in the 9th inning. Adam Dunn drew a
walk. Mike Cameron was next and he drew a walk. Bret Boone was next to the
plate, but was promptly struck out. One out later, Derek Jeter came up and
he laced a base-hit scoring the run. Jeter took second on the throw. Greg
Aquino earned the save with a perfect ninth, his 8th save.
Juan Rincon(5-3) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 and 2/3 innings and
allowing no runs. David Weathers(0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.
